A required BM 2FA prompt is an identity-verification boundary, not an ordinary browser fault. Pause BM access, payment binding and administrator changes until the account holder has completed Facebook’s current verification or recovery path.
Who completes 2FA
A BM can require people to use two-factor authentication, but the Facebook personal account holder configures and completes it. A company administrator must not take over another person’s codes or recovery material.
Identity comes before payment and permissions
If a pending payment is visible and 2FA blocks the login, the order is still identity first. Until identity is verified, the operator cannot reliably confirm the asset or authority shown on screen.
A new browser is not recovery
A clean browser may rule out a loading problem, but it cannot replace a 2FA challenge. Cookies, TOTP secrets, codes and recovery codes are sensitive session or authentication materials and do not belong in chat, forms or task logs.
Read four results after verification
- Personal account login and advertising capability
- Target BM access, role and notices
- Page and ad-account visibility
- Pending payment, decline or cardholder verification
Batch handling
Put a 2FA-blocked Profile in a pending queue, not a failed queue. Other Profiles with clear states can continue. Resume only after the holder has completed verification and the current state has been read again.
For a clear payment decline, see Facebook ad payment declined. If the affected object is uncertain, see which Facebook object is restricted.
